Born in 1962. He studied Business Administration at the University of Colorado, Denver (B.Sc.) and at the National University, San Diego (M.B.A. in Financial Management) in the United States. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Education Administration from the University of Middlesex (UK).

He served as a Member of the Board of Directors of various public companies and as a Member of the Board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (2011-2013). He was a faculty member at the School of Business of the European University of Cyprus between 1989 and 2017. At the same institution, he has served in various management positions and in 2007 was appointed as Director of Administration and Human Resources. He has participated in several research and other projects funded by the European Union, the United Nations and local institutions. From September 2013 to August 2017 he was the Chief Operating Officer for the MENA region of Laureate International Universities. Since then he provides Education Consultancy Services to local and international institutions.

He was elected Member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank on 28 May 2014. He was Senior Independent Director from 27 January 2015 to 28 August 2019. From 24 May 2017 to 11 July 2018, he was fulfilling the duties of the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Bank. He was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank on 28 August 2019.

He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Group’s Insurance subsidiaries, Hellenic Life Insurance Company Limited and Pancyprian Insurance Limited, as well as of HB Insurance Holding Limited.

Born in 1968.He studied Actuarial Science on full scholarship for both undergraduate and graduate studies in the United States and immediately following his studies he joined i.e. Muhanna & Co. Cyprus, a consulting actuarial firm, where he specialized in pensions and social insurance schemes.

In 1994, he joined the Cyprus Popular Bank Group, where he helped set up insurance company Laiki Cyprialife. He worked there until 2000 as Manager of Insurance Operations and Actuarial Services. Afterwards, he served as General Manager and Managing Director in Liberty Life Insurance. From 2003 to 2009 he served as Manager of Insurance Operations and Actuarial Services in Ethniki General Insurance and Ethniki Insurance Limited. Subsequently, he served as Group Chief Actuary and Risk Manager in Nest Investments (Holdings) Ltd, being responsible for actuarial and risk technical and non-technical areas for group companies in various countries.

He is Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (FCA), Certified Fellow of the Institute of Risk Management (CFIRM), Fellow and founding member of the Cyprus Actuarial Association (FCAA), Fellow of the Hellenic Actuarial Society (FHAS) and Associate of the Institute of Actuaries in the UK (AIA). His experience includes insurance product design, digital infrastructures and transformation of insurance operations, the full spectrum of actuarial aspects for both life and non-life business, risk management, reinsurance, insurance product distribution, management of operations, etc.

Since December 2020, he is the Chief Executive Officer of HB Insurance Holding Limited, a subsidiary of Hellenic Bank, responsible for the supervision and the strategic development of the two Insurance subsidiaries of the Group.

He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Group’s Insurance subsidiaries, Hellenic Life Insurance Company Limited and Pancyprian Insurance Limited, as well as of HB Insurance Holding Limited.

Born in 1977. Graduated from the English School in Nicosia and studied Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom. He is a Chartered Accountant (F.C.A.), member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.

He served as an Audit Manager in Arthur Andersen and Deloitte in London. Subsequently, he worked in KPMG in Cyprus as an Audit Manager specializing in audits of financial and insurance companies. Since 2006, he has been working in the Hellenic Bank Group, initially as an Officer in Group Financial Management and since 2009 as a Finance Manager of the Group subsidiary, Hellenic Life Insurance Company Ltd.

In 2016, he was appointed General Manager and Executive Member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Life Insurance Company Limited, a position he holds to this day.

He was born in Nicosia in 1956. After English School, he studied Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE) graduating with a First-Class Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. That was followed by a Master’s degree, again from the LSE, in Economics with specialization in Labor Economics. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross and obtained two year’s post qualification experience in the UK before returning to Cyprus in 1985.

He worked in the Audit Department of KPMG from 1985 until joining in 1989 the Bank of Cyprus Group, where he served until he retired in 2019. He started at CISCO, the investment banking unit of the Bank until 1995, when he was appointed General Manager of General Insurance of Cyprus, a position held until 2004. For the period 2004-2016, he headed the operations of the Bank as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and he was a member of the Bank’s Executive Committee since 2008. In the period 2016-2019, he returned to the insurance sector as the Executive Chairman of both General Insurance of Cyprus and Eurolife. At the end of 2019 he retired from the Bank of Cyprus Group and started working as a consultant.

From 2004 onwards he also served as either Chairman or member of the Board of a number of other Bank of Cyprus Group companies or external bodies such as the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre. He also served as a member of the Board of the Insurance Association of Cyprus for a number of years. He was a member of the Board of the Cyprus Banking Association, being the Chairman for three terms including the 2013 period when all the negotiations and discussions took place with Troika and the Eurogroup.

He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Group’s Insurance subsidiaries, Hellenic Life Insurance Company Limited and Pancyprian Insurance Limited, as well as of HB Insurance Holding Limited, chairing the Audit Committees of the two Insurance subsidiaries.

Born in 1967 in Nicosia. Graduated from Acropolis Lyceum and studied Accounting, Finance and Econometrics (Β.Α.) at the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. He then joined KPMG in the UK, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and since 1993 he is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

After 4 years working in KPMG UK, in 1994 he returned to Cyprus to join Bank of Cyprus as Head of Debt Recovery. After serving in various posts, he became General Manager of Corporate Banking. He left the Bank of Cyprus at the end of 2013 and for a period of almost 2 years he had been providing consulting services to Cypriot businesses operating in various sectors of the economy.

He works in Hellenic Bank since April 2016. From August 2016 to October 2017, he held the position of General Manager, Business & Insurance Division. Since November 2017 he holds the position of General Manager, Business Division. Parallel to his existing duties, since 1^st September 2020, he is officiating the duties of the CEO.

He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Bank Group’s Insurance subsidiaries, Hellenic Life Insurance Company Limited and Pancyprian Insurance Limited, as well as of HB Insurance Holding Limited.
